WWDC 2017's keynote just concluded and yes, iOS 11 is here. The first iOS 11 betas also went live for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. So, if you are wondering what are the new features in iOS 11, we show you some of the 5 cool iOS 11 features in this article. Along with new iOS 11 features and changes, we are also including some cool hidden features and iOS 11 tricks that Apple did not show off at the event.
1. Control Center
The Control Center has been completely revamped in iOS 11, and I can't say I liked it. Yes, the new design merges all of the pages into one, but I was a fan of the separate panes for far too long, this new control center looks a bit cluttered, to be honest. There are some good things though, the volume and brightness levels look good, and are exceptionally smooth. 3D touch on the toggle shows more toggles including personal hotspots. If you are looking for the night shift, you can find it by 3D touching the brightness level.

One of the best things in control center is that it is now fully customizable. You can just head over to control center and settings and change the offset of visibility in the control center and even the order they show up.
2. Notification Center

The new Notification Center, which looks like the lock screen |
The notification center behaves completely differently on iOS 11. Swiping down from the top to expose notifications brings back a kind of the lock screen, with the latest notifications visible, you can swipe up to view the older notifications, swiping left will reveal the widget screen, as it always did. But swiping right from the notification center reveals the camera. Also, you can dismiss the notification center, by simply touching the home button.
3. Screen Recording
iOs 11 finally supports native screen recording. The feature is hidden by default, but you can go to Control Center Settings, and add screen record toggle to your Control Center. Then, just swipe up to bring the control center and tap on the screen recording button. iOs 11 will then start recording the screen and save it to photos when you stop it.
4. File Manager

FILES APP IN iOS 11 |
Apple finally allows users to access files in iOS. iOS 11 comes with a new pre-installed app aptly named Files. Even though it sounds as if you will get access to iOS file system, that's not what this is. Files is a replacement to iCloud drive and bring new features like subwoofer tags and more in a much more attractive interface. This is one of the most awaited upgrades inside the iOS and I am happy that it’s finally here.
5. QR Code Support
iOS 11 brings native QR code support to the camera app, you can simply point the camera at the QR code and it will recognize it if it's a URL, iOS 11 automatically suggests to tap yo open the URL in Safari.
