Huawei Y3 II InDepth Review

Huawei is a chinese multinational company which was founded in 1987 by Ren Zhengfei.
The Huawei Y3 II is yet another smartphone model developed by Huawei technologies. The phone looks pretty decent in my opinion. This smartphone is priced at 80 EUR (90-100$). This smartphone is not yet released in India and the price is expected to be at Rs. 6999.

The smartphone also features an additional physical key, called Easy Key as defined by the company. This key is used for gestures inputs, for example you can use this key to open any app within the smartphone. The available gestures are press, double gestures,  and long press. You can set your phone to launch certain app when you press, long press or double press the easy key. This is an awesome feature which is not available in most phones.

The smartphones runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS which is run by most devices at this price. The smartphone has a 5MP back facing camera and a 3MP front camera. Its is capable of recording videos At 1080P HD Quality. Huawei Y3 II has a 4GB internal memory and supports upto 32 GB external SD card. It is powered by QuadCore MediaTek Processor clocked @ 1.53Ghz. The phone has a 2100 mAh battery, the main disadvantage is that ,although the phone has 2100 mAh of battery, the power consumption is huge and it needs to be charged 1-2 times a day.

The UI is of course designed by Huawei and is called Emotion UI. The phone has EMUI 3.1 version, here also the disadvantage is that the even though the UI is packed with awesome features, it is not fully optimized ie, the power consumption and RAM management is not so smooth as compared to other smartphones at this same price.

Now coming to my buddy's favorite part, this smartphone has an LED ring around the camera, which gets lighted or blinks softly when you have any notification or when your are playing music. The best part is that the lighting of LED can be controlled from the phone via an app present in the phone as default (stock app), so you dont need to worry about downloading other apps which may or may not work for controlling led lighting.

Last but not the least, the disadvantages of this smartphone is that the battery consumption is critical as mentioned above but still you can reduce the consumption by downloading third party apps. Believe me, it miraculously works on this phone!!. Also there are no physical home buttons on the phone and the virtual touch sensing button or the soft touch sometimes wont recognize your touch.
