PicsArt is one of the best free photo editing software you can get in the play store. I personally use it for creating my Youtube Thumbnails. It contains a lot of features like text, Filters, make Collages etc, and it has over 100 editing tools to make your image perfect.

Aviary has been in the market for a long time, and it is reliable for all editing tasks. This app contains a lot of features like one-tap auto enhance, color contrast, color splash, cosmetic tools like red-eye fixing, teeth whitening etc.

If you guys are into online photo editors, you might have heard about Pixlr. They first started off as a web-app, on their official website. This a pp promises over 2 million combinations of free effects, overlays, and filters. Some of the features are:

Personally, this is my favorite online photo editor, and I use this one for editing my Instagram photos. It contains over 650 filters, Fantastic face photo montages, photo frames, animated effects,  face in hole effects to become Iron Man, Darth Vader or Mona Lisa. It has both free and a paid version, the paid version costs only $1/Rs 65. Go try out the free one, and if you liked it, I will highly recommend buying the paid one.

  • Brush- Selective retouch exposure, saturation, warmth.
  • Healing- Remove any unwanted objects from the image
  • Lens Blur(My favorite feature)- Gives a DSLR Bokeh effect to the image.
  • Face Enhance- Add focus to the eyes, smoothen skin and add light to specific parts of the face.

    This program alternative to iphoto lacks a photo organizing system. While it isn't necessary to have one, it can make the editing process easier when you can quickly locate your photos.
