Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Officially launched: Here are The Official Specs

Xiaomi has just unveiled its brand new device, the Redmi Note 5A. The event which was held in Beijing started around

5 pm IST. The phone was leaked quite a few times on the internet, even Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun had posted a pic of Redmi 5A on his Weibo account. Redmi Note 5A is one of the incredible power Smartphone in the budget segment.

The Xiaomi Note 5A seems to be the successor of Redmi 4A, but also affordable than the Redmi 4. Redmi Note 5A is released in 2 different versions( Standard Edition and HIgh Edition) and 3 RAM and Storage variants, Standard Edition - 2GB ram+16Gb Storage, the other 2 High edition versions 3GB ram+ 32gb Storage and 4Gb +64Gb Storage, and they both features a fingerprint scanner.

Body, Screen, OS

Redmi Note 5A is an all-metal phone with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front.The fingerprint sensor is only present in the higher version of the phone. All the versions come with 5.5 inch 720p HD screen.Both versions are running Android Nougat 7.0 Based MIUI 9.

Dedicated SD card slot, Battery

It has a dedicated micro-SD card slot, i.e it features a 2+1 card tray design. This was a feature awaited by everyone in the world. Thanks Xiaomi for hearing our request. Now you can use 2 Sim cards and an SD card that can be expanded up to 128GB. The phone is backed by a 3,080 mAh battery which is non-removable and offers 35 hours of talk time

Camera

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A(3 Gb version) features a 16 MB 76-wide angle sensor Front camera with front-facing LED. Therefore, you can take quality selfies during low light conditions. While the lower version packs in a 5mp Front-facing camera. They both have 13mp primary shooters assisted by LED flash.

The Standard version of the 5A will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU, like the Redmi 4A. The higher version is powered by Snapdragon 435 octa-core processor with Adreno 505 GPU.

All three variants will go on sale via Mi.com and JD.com from Tuesday.
